Another monthly favourites time!
This month I am loving my new foundation to begin with – Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid Makeup. This is a very light weight, sheer foundation which is oil free, fragrance free and non acnegenic. Comes in many shades (16 shades from fair to darker complexions) and most likely to find your match with the more neutral undertones . It is marketed as ‘See no makeup, feel no makeup’. The finishing is skin like, not dewy not matte either. Can be built up up to medium coverage. It doesn’t have SPF in it which can be pro for some and con for others. I personally prefer my foundation without SPF and to use SPF underneath as primer, moisturizer (something like Clinique city block is perfect). I’m impressed with the color match, finishing and how long lasting this foundation is. Compared to Chanel Vitalumiere aqua, finishing and coverage is quite comparable however I prefer Estee Lauder Invisible Makeup Fluid because of the more friendly ingredient list. If you are looking for a sheer, natural make up for summer, I highly recommend this one.
Moving on to my spring/summer favourite blush – Lush Nectarine from Laura Mercier. During spring/summer, I intend to wear white a lot.. Looks fresh, feels fresh and can be accessorized easily with any bright color and I find peachy make up quite good to go with. The second skin cheek colors by Laura Mercier is quite pigmented. I enjoy the effect I get in the morning with one brush stroke to each cheek, I feel awake, glowy.
I’m also loving my Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre as moisturizer/primer. It healed my dehydrated skin and helped a lot with the irritation occured due to dehydration/dryness. It makes a good primer under make up.
For eyes, I found myself reaching out for Avene Soothing Eye Contour Cream a lot. This is a light weight yet quite moisturizing eye cream formulated with thermal spring water. And for eye make up Nars eyeshadow duo – Tokyo was my go to this month. It makes a fresh look for spring, hardly there shades, combined gives a natural no make up definition to the eyes.
Random favorite of this month is Vampire Diaries. Again I should say I am old for the targeted audience, but can’t help and like all the young adult fiction books, series, movies, let’s say young at heart when it comes to supernatural 🙂 I really look forward to see what is to come in the next series. Don’t want to spoil for any of you so I will just mention Season 3 is good 🙂 Me likey!
I hope you all had a wonderful month of April. Until next time, take care!
